My Biography

I am originally from Long Island, NY. In 1976 I headed for Phoenix, AZ. I currently reside in Reno, NV. I love spending time with my 4-year-old granddaughter and only daughter. I'm very fortunate to be part of a very close-knit family. We are all in the circle of trust!!!
I first learned how to sew at a very young age. My mother was a professional seamstress. She tried her best to show me the basics of sewing, but quickly ran out of patience. So I took the little bit she taught me and I learned on my own. When I entered my high school years, I decided to major in art. In my senior year, I was told I had the ability to become a fashion designer. Needless to say that never happened. My mom also taught me how to crochet and my Nana taught me embroidery. I am my own teacher! You will find that it is very rewarding to learn something new and achieve its many facets.
I am known by many to be called a perfectionist! Oh, and a cleaning nut. All I can say is! Life is good at 52 and I'm doing what I love best, creating one-of-a-kind Pretty Things. I guess you can call it a future collectible.
Another passion of mine is to take pictures with my awesome camera. This has caused me to start scrap booking. And that's OK with me too! Because I get to spend time with family and we all scrap book together.
Now, I just have to tell you about the wonderful man in my life. We met on Match.com and yes! It was love at first sight. David and I have been together for 5 years now and I can't think of anyone else I would rather spend the rest of my life with. We share our beautiful home with two awesome kitties, Geppetto and Maggie.
